According to an article posted by RDS, it states that Philippe Boucher a unresitricted free agent from the Stanley Cup winner Pittsburg Penguins, would like to play for Montreal Canadiens if he was signed by Bob Gainey. RDS also reports that Philippe Boucher hasn't receieved any offer from any of the 30 NHL teams. Here is the direct link to the source (French). Philippe Boucher is a local player (born in St. Apollinaire, Quebec) who is a defensman, although, it would make the fans very happy to have another local player added to the team. But the question is does Montreal need more defensman?
